The Cape Town Composers' Workshop launches officially on Tue the 29th of September 2009, with its debut performance at the newly built facility in Bridgetown. Coffeebeans Routes will be producing and managing the show for the Composers' Workshop. This will be a masters performance, featuring, amongst others: Andrew Schwartz on drumsIn all Mac says there's be some 239 000 musicians featured! The evening programme is as follows:The show will be recorded, and will form the first of 3 albums released annually featuring the work of the Composers' Workshop. The albums will form the backbone of a unique pledge system, that will see supporters of the Composers' Workshop pay a monthly or annual pledge, for which they will receive 3 albums per year from the programme, featuring works from the programme.
